Jamie Crowther: 2016/2017 Biography & Statistics

Midfielder Jamie Crowther joined Aberystwyth Town in January 2017 from Altrincham AFC with whom he failed to make an appearance.

He had joined Bala Town from Connahs Quay in June 2016 and he was named in the club's Europa League squad.

He arrived at Deeside Stadium in January 2015 from Vanarama Conference North side, Barrow AFC., having begun his career with home town club, Wrexham. He picked up Wales U18 honours, but never made a first team appearance for the side before moving to Cefn Druids, Stalybridge Celtic and Bangor City.

Whilst at Bangor, Jamie featured in their Europa League squad in 2012 before joining Colwyn Bay before joining Barrow in May 2014. Crowther's competitive debut for The Nomads came in January 2015 in a 3-2 defeat at home to Newtown. Crowther went on to make 43 competitive appearances for The Nomads, scoring four goals before leaving Deeside in June 2016.

Crowther is also a highly-rated young coach and was in charge of the Airbus academy when they lifted the FAW U16 Academy Cup in May 2016.
