Defender Laurence Wilson, who can operate in either midfield or the left back positions, joined Bangor City from Morecambe.

He has made a total of 321 appearances (17 goals) in the Football League over the last ten years. The Liverpool-born Wilson began his career with the Everton Academy and signed his first professional contract in November 2004.
He made his Football League debut for Mansfield Town (on loan) in February 2006 and then signed for Chester City in May 2006 and would go on to make 115 appearances in three seasons at the Deva Stadium. Wilson then signed with League Two club Morecambe and made a further 111 appearances, scoring 11 goals) in 3 seasons for The Shrimpers.

Further moves to Rotherham United then Accrington Stanley followed before a return to the Globe Arena with Morecambe for the 2014/15 season. Wilson has represented England at all Youth levels up-to-and including Under-19.
