Gareth Partridge: 2016/2017 Biography & Statistics

Wrexham-born Partridge joined Cefn Druids from Newtown in August 2015, but following fifteen months at the club, he returned to Denbigh Town.

Partridge had returned to Newtown for a second spell in January 2015 from the Huws Gray Alliance side Denbigh Town.

He was released at the end of the 2012/13 season by Bernie McNally, before moving on from the club to university in America.

A former Shrewsbury Town striker, Partridge signed for Newtown following protracted negotiations with the FA of Wales in November 2010.

The Ruabon-born player made his debut in the live televised game against Neath at Latham Park and scored a double. He was released by Shrewsbury Town, aged 19, at the end of the 2009/10 season and returned to full time education.

During his first spell with the Robins, he was converted from an attacking player to a right-back or right midfielder.

He is a former Under-17 Wales international and was a regular scorer with Shrewsbury Town Youth and Reserves before his surprise release.
