Jones enjoyed an excellent inaugural season in the Welsh Premier League, having been nominated in the top three for the League's Player of the Year Award and winning the Young Player of the Year. But, Bangor were unable to agree terms for a second season in 2017/18 and Jones joined AFC Fylde.
Carmarthen-born midfielder Henry Jones is a product of the Swansea City Academy graduating through the Under-18 and Under-21 ranks at the Liberty Stadium. Aberaeron-based Jones was scouted by the Swans aged eight and was rewarded with his first professional contract in 2011. He possesses a wide range of passing ability as well as being a danger from dead ball situations.
Jones has made an excellent impression on the League and scooped the October Player of the Month award following an inspiring number of performances during October for Bangor City.
The young midfielder played in three of Bangor's four Dafabet WPL matches plus twice in the Nathaniel MG Cup and managed to get himself on the score-sheet twice including scoring the winning goal in Elgogico against Rhyl in the live Sgorio encounter.
