Brayden Shaw: 2016/2017 Biography & Statistics

Brayden Shaw joined Bangor City on loan from Accrington Stanley in August 2016 and made a very good impression on the League, scoring some excellent goals and winning the League's December Player of the Month award.

He returned to Accrington in January 2017 and was immediately named on the bench for Stanley in the FA Cup at Premier League Middlesborough.

The 6'4' Lancastrian, who is equally effective operating centrally or on the flanks, graduated through the youth ranks at Bury.

Shaw was a member of the North West Youth Alliance League title-winning side in 2014/15, scoring 13 goals in 11 games, before signing professionally with The Shakers in the summer of 2015.

Denied a breakthrough into the first team ranks at Gigg Lane, Shaw joined Accrington Stanley at the beginning of 2016 following a successful trial period at the Wham Stadium. Brayden made his Stanley debut at Oxford in February 2016 and subsequently made several appearances in Stanley's run to the League Two Play-Off Semi-Finals, where they narrowly lost out to eventual winners AFC Wimbledon.
