Robins striker ruptured achilles against Carmarthen

Newtown striker Jamie Reed has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season.

The veteran forward ruptured his achilles over the weekend during the Robins' 3-2 loss at Carmarthen Town, and as a result will miss the rest of Phase 2.

Reed took to Twitter earlier to thank well-wishers and declare that he'd be back in pre-season.
