Sunday Round Up | Last-gasp Oswell goal secures draw for Newtown against Morgan's Seasiders.

The fixture between the two sides leading this season's Battle for Seventh was broadcast live on Sgorio this afternoon with plenty of top action promised - four goals and ninety minutes later, it's safe to say that promise was kept. Read on to find out how both sides fared in the game.

Newtown AFC 2-2 Llandudno FC
Latham Park
Newtown AFC Scorers: Luke Boundford 27', Jason Oswell 90+2'
Llandudno FC Scorers: Danny Hughes 14', Danny Shaw 66'

As was the case against The Wingmakers a couple of weeks ago, a decent start by Chris Hughes' Newtown at Latham Park dissipated quite quickly as the visiting Llandudno took the lead after 14 minutes with Danny Hughes's 25-yard effort flying into the back of the net, catching out Robins Stopper Jack Perry to some extent, and Alan Morgan's men led 1-0.

Jason Oswell notched his first opportunity of the game midway through the first half as his goal-bound volley was deflected wide from a corner, before Llandudno's own centre forward Jamie Reed went down the other end soon afterwards and found himself a yard or so away from poking home and doubling his team's lead - a miss that proved costly.

Such was the end-to-end nature of this fixture at times, Newtown were back on level terms less than a minute after Reed's miss as Luke Boundford brought the scores level, powering a header past Dave Roberts.

The game became a bit scrappy from this point onwards, however the woodwork was struck by both sides on occasion before Danny Shaw restored Llandudno's lead and looked to have sealed a vital win as the clock wound down, but Oswell had other ideas as he equalised with the last kick of a game to keep Newtown's undefeated streak alive as the score finished 2-2.
